Composed Animation presentation

For the end of the year, the music department's composition class took a few animations from J-term 2008 Animation class and put some music to the visual. One of my animations was useed so they invite me to their end of the year presentatino showing all of their works. Other pieces include 3D animations and music visualizers, movie clips, and other manipulated visuals. It was interesting to see how these students took the silent clips and produced sound that set the mood. I'm sure that with some other music, the pieces may have been a little different in interpretation.

Peep Show

So, a month or so ago, Hartwick held the Annual Peeps Art Show, where students, teachers, and the community creatively made a piece with peeps in mind. Some took the political path, making fun of certain big cheeses, some created mock scenes from various movies and plays, some even constructed pizzas, dresses, and even a model spine with only multicolored peeps. I entered the contest as well, using some of my stop motion magic, playing around with the idea that the peeps would come alive and attack the eater. So we shot a few hundred photos, pulled it together on Moviemaker nontheless and it turned out pretty nicely. It was a good time.
